On Sunday we visited the Henry Vilas Zoo with Grammy Mary, Uncle Joe and Aunt Michele. It was a bit chilly for being a June day, but Madelyn loved seeing all the animals and the other "Madelyn's" (her term for babies and small children--however, when she says it, it sounds more like "Madomen"). By the sound of her shrills, I would say her favorites were the prairie dogs kicking up dirt, the macaws in the Rain Forest exhibit, and the carousal ride.
She was so tired by the end of the day that she fell asleep in her car seat with cheerios in her mouth. You know you're tired when you fall asleep eating!

Sarah, you HAVE to make sure Madelyn's first boyfriend sees that zoo picture. The look on her face is priceless! You should enter it in a baby contest!
